  • Gas water heater, exhaust fan and window type air conditioner for each flat (subject to the domestic appliances specified in the Licence Agreement)

The monthly rent (including management fees and rates) will be charged with reference to the level of rent allowance payable to recipients under the CSSA Scheme and will not exceed 25% of the prevailing income limits for the corresponding household category in PRH.

Tenants are required to pay electricity, water, gas and broadband charges according to the "user pays" principle.

No live poultry, animals or pets of any kind are allowed in the flat without prior permission.

It will be lasted for a month, from 15th October 2021 to 15th November 2021.

Q: Applicants who applied for public housing in 2017 and updated their information in 2019, are they eligible for Category A?


A: Yes, the date of application is based on the first application and the applicant will be eligible if he/she has completed 3 years before 31 March 2022.

  • Hard copies of the application forms and application guidance notes can be obtained from POH’s service units (Annex 1)

(a) Applicant can complete and submit an online application at https://khw.pokoi.org.hk before the closing date.
(b) If an online application is submitted successfully, applicant does not need to mail the application form to POH. Repeated applications will NOT be considered.

No, it is not permitted

No, the project aims to provide transitional housing for applicants on the Waiting List for public rental housing. If their applications for public rental housing with the HA are still valid, their applications will not be affected by the project, i.e. they will continue to be processed in accordance with the existing HA's public rental housing application policy and procedures.

Yes, applicants should go to the Hong Kong Housing Authority to change their family members' information before applying for the scheme.

Yes, but if the applicant is found to have accepted the offer of any other transitional housing unit after signing the Licence Agreement (LA), Pok Oi Hospital (POH) may immediately terminate this LA and/or request the Transport and Housing Bureau or other organisations to withdraw and/or cancel the offer made and cancel the relevant agreement by giving written notice. The deposit paid will not be refunded. POH reserves all other rights.

Yes, you can apply if your tenancy will end within 3 months before occupation.

The ballot result for Type A Applicants will be posted up at khw.pokoi.org.hk; Type B Applicants will be notified individually. Unsuccessful applicants will not be notified separately. Applicants who do not receive any notification 5 months from the closing date may consider their applications unsuccessful.

  • No attachment of supporting document will be required for application submission.
  • Applicants shall bring along all the required supporting documents (both the originals and one set of photocopies) for qualification vetting and verification when they are invited to attend the vetting interviews.

If the application for the 1st Phase is unsuccessful, our system will automatically roll over the application to the next round’s (i.e. 2nd Phase) subject to applicants’ consents.

Construction works for the 2nd Phase is expected to be completed in Sep 2022. The application details will be announced at khw.pokoi.org.hk. at a later stage.

Type A Applicants: Applicants will be invited to attend the vetting interviews after computer balloting.
Type B Applicants: Applicants will be notified individually after the closing date.

POH will inform the eligible applicants individually.

Applicants (except those who live alone) and their family members aged 18 or above need to attend the vetting interviews together.

No rescheduling will be arranged. Applicant who fails to attend the vetting interview shall be deemed to have given up his/her application.

Type A Applicants
(a) Computer balloting will be held to determine the priority for the arrangement of vetting interviews (for both shortlisted and waiting lists). Applicants will be invited to attend the vetting interviews according to the priority drawn.
(b) Flat will be allocated (randomly assigned by computer) to eligible applicants.
Type B Applicants
(a) Applicants and their family members will be interviewed and assessed by POH’s registered social workers.
(b) Flat will be allocated (randomly assigned by computer) to eligible applicants according to their assessment scores (from high to low) while stocks last.

Flats will be allocated randomly by the computer once.

No. Successful applicants will only be allocated a flat at random by the computer once. If the applicant voluntarily gives up the allocated flat.

  • Phase 1 is scheduled for completion in March 2022;
  • Phase 2 is scheduled for completion in September 2022*.

*The date of occupation may be delayed due to the progress of works or other reasons and the Home will not be responsible for any loss arising therefrom.

The lease term is two years (renewal is possible on a case-by-case basis)

At the end of the lease period, the applicant must vacate the flat; he/she may consider applying for other transitional housing projects.

  • Either the applicant or the Pok Oi Hospital (POH) has the right to terminate the LA by giving not less than one month's written notice to the other party.
  • The LA will be terminated automatically if the applicant is allocated a public housing unit by the Housing Authority. The applicant is required to vacate and return his or her transitional flat to the POH within two months after the allocation of a public housing flat.
